Fruitful LA

Fruitful is a community-oriented app that allows users to grow and consume local produce, while simultaneously supporting community organizations. When someone buys a fruit, a portion of the sales proceeds is donated to a local organization of the seller's choice. Our goal is to promote sustainability and foster stronger, more fruitful communities!

Specifically, Fruitful enables anyone in the community to contribute by listing fruit or produce grown in their yard, or homemade items, onto the Fruitful marketplace. This can be easily done using their phone's camera, and filling in a few fields describing the item, availability, stock, etc. When the item is sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the seller's selected organization. The app also helps the seller to make sure the item is delivered within the specified time frame and confirms delivery.
